credit cards

What credit cards allow you to add an Authorized User WITHOUT requiring their social security number?
Both personal and small business credit cards would be helpful. Thanks!
I know through personal experience that American Express DOES require a SS# when adding additional cardholders (at least for personal cards), and that Advanta does NOT require a SS# when adding additional cardholders.
Personal experience with additional issuers would be helpful.
Please provide specific credit card issuers. Thanks!
As far as I know, most credit cards allow you to add an authorized user without a social security number.

RECONSTRUCTION best credit card with no setup fees, or safety-deposit?
He made the mistake of applying a pair of cards online – and have tons of spam that offer me Down payment cards, and cards with large tank and large “annual fee” (which should be paid up front).
All is not legitimate “New-York-type offers’? My only income is my Social Security check monthly disability (not enough to qualify for me a visa cc through my bank, ironically). Thanks for the tips real helpful. Hope I do not get links to more scams! NOTE:
1. There is no application fee,
2. Flat rate n ‘up’ (after “approval”)
3. No annual fee “(paid in advance), 4. NO UP FRONT FEE OF ANY KIND. Thank you!
You can go to Orchard Bank, Bank of America and HSBC websites. They have a card selector that can be recommended a card. It will not pull a hard inquiry unless you actually apply for a card that is recommended. And do not spam with ridiculous offers that you have been receiving.
Note that even if a card is recommended, you still must be approved by it. I do not know your situation, but you may need a secured credit card. If you think about a secured card, try Orchard, HSBC and Bank of America (BoA I sure do not know about 9 to 12 months if the card is kept in good condition.
Unfortunately, if you has a very low income, it is difficult to be approved by much, unless it is a secured card. However, a secured card is almost like a savings account. Once you pay, it’s there until you safe and return it to you, or close the account and return it to you.
Just stay with banks known as BoA, Orchard and HSBC. If you are trying to rebuild your credit, you can look at cards from stores like Wal-Mart or Target. Chevron has a rebuilder card. You could try CareCredit. And there is the Crown Jewelers. Not “will” pull a credit report, you will be approved automatically, but you have to buy something for report. But you can get $ 500 to $ 1500 a credit line that shows in their reports for a very small purchase.
If you have someone in your family who could add you as an authorized user, that would help their ratings. Just make sure if you’ve added the card (s) being added to the excellent story and low utilization. When added as the African Union, the history of the account and the total credit limit is displayed in your reports. This does not affect who adds that at all. And he added as AU safeguard in case anything happens to the person you have added.
In those cases, you will not be responsible for payment of the card as it would be added as a regular user.
I would also suggest that if someone like the African Union says that when you receive the card, to give it and let them cut. So there will be no anxiety to the person who adds you. You may see in joining a credit union and try one of their cards. They usually a little more forgiving than a regular bank on the approval of the card. Stay away from cards as ASPIRE, Aspen, etc. You pay nothing, not fees refundable with these cards.
Depending on how much you do on SSDI, you can check with your DHS and see if you qualify for food stamps, etc. If you start receiving, can use it as “other income” household when you apply for credit. That will drive up their total income. I do not know how much help this is, I hope some. Good luck.
